New Delhi: Sony TV has started to give a new platform to the new idea of changing India from Monday, where the dreams of the businessmen will come true. The new generation is full of new ideas, risk taking ability, business and entrepreneurship.

As the changes have started occurring in the society, Sony Entertainment Television has launched Shark Tank India, which will provide an opportunity for budding entrepreneurs with interesting business ideas, business prototypes or active business ventures to present their ideas and get exposure. These ideas will be assessed by the experts of the business i.e. Sharks.

Produced by Studio Next, the show will go on air every Monday to Friday at 9 pm from December 20th, only on Sony Entertainment Television. It can also be accessed on Sony TV's app Sony Liv.

Interestingly, Shark Tank India will not only guide the participants or pitchers, but will also provide the audience with a hands-on experience of the nuances of the business.

The participants will invest in a wide variety of business aspirants who are successful entrepreneurs themselves.

Judges of Shark Tank India

Talented Sharks from the first season of Shark Tank India include Ashneer Grover (Founder and Managing Director of 'Bharat PE'), Vineeta Singh (CEO and Co-Founder, Sugar Cosmetics), Peeyush Basal (Founder and CEO, Lenskart), Namita Thapar (Executive Director, Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Anupam Mittal (Founder and CEO, Shaadi.com – People Group), Ghazal Aalag (Co-Founder and Chief Mama of Mamaearth) and Aman Gupta (Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Boat).

While all these sharks will play a vital role in the development of India's business infrastructure, host Rannvijay Singha will guide the pitchers as well as the audience on the show.

Applicants will have to give tough exam

Now you may ask what its process is. Entering this tank will be a real test of determination. The selected applicants will face sharks or investors, who will understand the applicant's idea, assess it and offer them based on their final pitch.

If the pitchers are able to impress the sharks, then the sharks will make an offer or investment to them at the same time. Sharks will also take the business forward of those pitchers whose idea will be the best.
